Swaffham Mayor A very warm welcome to the Swaffham Town Council Website. We are eager to share with you the work done on our residents’ behalf over the last year. Our Website give an overview of the happenings. The Agendas and Minutes of all the meetings give more detailed accounts. Our Councillors are listed for your convenience and they, the Town Clerk and his staff are extremely willing to listen to your problems and do all in their power to solve them. Internal Auditor: The Town Council need a volunteer to take on Internal Audit duties. We place on record our grateful thanks to Tony Lawlor who has recently stood down from this post after three years. Information: Full Town Council meetings: 2nd Wednesday of each month, except August (when there is a recess) – all Full Council meetings in the Council Chamber at the Town Hall start at 6.45 pm (Public Participation 15 minutes allows any elector to address the Council during this part of the meeting). News on the TESCO front…. PUBLIC CONSULTATION event to be held on Friday 27th & Saturday 28th January (Friday 3.00 p.m. – 7.00 p.m. & Saturday 10.30 p.m. – 3.00 p.m.) in the Pedlar Suite at the George Hotel. This consultation follows a meeting which was held on 22nd November at the Town Hall between representatives of Millgate/Tesco, the Town Council, the Business Forum and ASAG (Advance Swaffham Action Group).
